Argan trees and beaches

Day 1

• Transfer to the stables in Diabat (3 km from Essaouira), departure spot of the trek.
• Meeting with the team. Allocation of horses.
• Beginning of the trek along Oued El Ksob, we will pass various shrub forests to reach the small village of Ghazoua.
• Donkeys, goats and sheep will cross our path.
• Picnic break. We will then take the road towards the small Berber village of Sidi Mhand O Mhand, where our camp is located. Visit to a women’s cooperative that produces Argan oil.
• Tea and Moroccan pastries will be waiting for you at camp.
• Free time to relax.
• Traditional Moroccan dinner.
• Night in bivouac camp.

Day 2

• After breakfast, we will head to Sidi Kaouki through various lands: Large forests of Argan trees and small Berber villages.
• Picnic break.
• Trek to the village of Iftane, where our camp is located at the heights, with breath-taking views of the sea.
• Tea and Moroccan pastries at the camp.
• Free time.
• Traditional Moroccan dinner.
• Night in bivouac.

Day 3

• After breakfast, we will go back on our horses for a 2h trek along cliffs with breath-taking landscapes, towards the waterfalls of Sidi Mbarek, where we will stop for a picnic break.
• After eating, we will cross a series of beaches to reach our camp in Sidi Kaouki near the sea.
• Tea and pastries at the camp.
• Free time.
• Traditional Moroccan dinner.
• Night in bivouac. (Possibility to spend the night in a guesthouse)

Day 4

• After breakfast, we will leave on horseback towards Essaouira.
• Expect many long deserted beaches. We will pass a small fishing village and continue our journey through the forest.
• Following a series of sand dunes and beaches we will arrive at our destination; Diabat.
• Expected arrival to the stables around 15h30.
• Transfer back to Essaouira.

Reservations :

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total amount of your stay, to be paid into the Crédit du Maroc account under the RIB: 021240000031503004082678. The remaining balance is due no later than 3 weeks before your departure. For reservations made within the month prior to departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer and should be confirmed with their bank.

Cancellations :

In case of cancellation, EXPLORA ADVENTURE will retain a portion of the amounts already paid:

• More than 30 days before departure: 30% of the total cost retained
• Between 30 and 21 days before departure: 50% of the total cost retained
• Between 20 and 10 days before departure: 75% of the total cost retained
• Between 9 days before departure and the day of departure: 100% of the total cost retained
Failure to show up at the scheduled time and place of departure will be considered a cancellation, resulting in cancellation fees of 100% of the total amount of the stay. Any interrupted or shortened trip, regardless of the cause, will not be refunded.

Insurance :

Participation in sports and/or leisure activities is at your own risk. You must assess whether you are fit to participate in such activities. Our rates do not include "assistance and repatriation" insurance. Many insurance companies offer insurance for sports stays abroad starting from 10 euros, including repatriation to Europe. Please inquire with your insurance company for more details.
