Transfer to the stables in Diabat (3 km), departure spot of the trek.
Meeting with the team. Allocation of horses.
Beginning of the trek along Oued El Ksob, through juniper forest, in the hinterland.
Lunch break in the village of Douar Larab.
After lunch, we will take the road to the village of Ida Ogourd, we will follow different tracks and cross several villages to reach our bivouac, located near an old sugar factory; very famous in the region.
Tea and Moroccan pastries will be waiting for you at camp.
Free time.
Dinner and overnight under traditional Moroccan tents.
Jour 2
After breakfast, we will start the day trekking along a river until we reach a water dam.
Picnic at the dam.
We will then take the road, heading to Sidi Mhand O Mhand via small Berber villages.
Visit a women’s cooperative that produces Argan oil.
Tea and pastries at the camp, around Argan trees.
Free time.
Traditional Moroccan dinner.
Night in bivouac.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will head to Sidi Kaouki through various fields: Large forests of Argan trees and small Berber villages.
Picnic break.
Trek to the village of Iftane, where our camp is located at the heights, with breath-taking views of the sea.
Tea and pastries at the camp.
Free time.
Traditional Moroccan dinner.
Night in bivouac.
Day 4
After breakfast, we will go back on our horses for a 2h trek along cliffs with breath-taking
landscapes, towards the waterfalls of Sidi Mbarek, where we will stop for a picnic.
After eating, we will cross a series of beaches to our camp in Sidi Kaouki near the sea.
Tea and pastries at the camp.
Free time.
Traditional Moroccan dinner.
Night in a bivouac (Possibility to spend the night in a guesthouse).
Day 5
After breakfast, we will leave on horseback towards Essaouira.
Expect many long deserted beaches along the way. We will pass a small fishing village and continue our journey through the forest.
Picnic break.
Following a series of sand dunes and beaches we will arrive at our destination; Diabat.
